Following the outstanding success of the 2004 ABIQ Autism Conference, ABIQ is pleased to announce the 2006 ARMS Global Autism Conference to be held on 6 & 7 October 2006 at the Brisbane Technology Park.

The conference will cover the latest information on areas such as communication, biomedical treatments, socialisation, behavioural approaches, alternative therapies and strategies for supporting and living with a child with ASD. Keynote speakers confirmed so far includes Professor Tony Attwood, Dr Pamela Wolfberg, Dr Mark Sundberg, Dr John McEachin, Dr William Walsh, Mr Stephen Shore and Ms Wendy Lawson. The conference has been planned to cater for parents and carers of children with autism, education support people (e.g. teachers, AVTs, teacher aides & early childhood workers), allied health professionals (e.g. speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists & physiotherapists) and other professionals helping children with autism.  Click here for Conference program and registration form.
